This is only included here because there is a serial killer subplot involved, though it's about as lame as the rest of the movie. Joseph Fiennes (brother of Ralph Fiennes), channeling Kevin Nealon, is a retired cop who wants to come up with a profile for the typical "DARWIN AWARD" winner. For those of you who don't know the term, it refers to those people who end up killing themselves in supremely stupid ways - and because they kill themselves off they take themselves out of the gene pool, allowing our species to survive.
The only funny thing about this movie is David Arquette as one of the award winners who fastens a jet engine to his car and blasts off into the side of a mountain. Winona Ryder (A SCANNER DARKLY, ALIENS 4) is the insurance investigator love-interest.
A bad movie!
