I will start off by saying that this movie just plain rocked. Pretty much a non-stop raging of extreme weather and action. Dennis Quaid and partners find some signs leading them to believe we are headed into another possible iceage in the next century, if we do not watch our abuse of the planet. Some strange weather occurrences start to happen around the world and he is called in for his advice. Of course, his theory is viewed like the ravings of a mad man and pretty much ignored. The bad weather goes from bad to worse as we get hail in Japan, ice over most of Europe and tornadoes out in Los Angeles. The level of destruction becomes larger and larger and the special effects in this one made it all very believable. If you stop and think about it.. this scenario could actually happen.. and that makes this movie pretty damn scary. The northern states are screwed, the south is next.. so those in the south are on the move to Mexico. This movie was hitting on all cylinders and is a must see for everyone... especially disaster movie freaks like myself. See it.
