This film is supposed to be 'America's answer to Shaun of the Dead.' If this is all we have to answer a great film like Shaun, then his reviewer is highly disappointed. We follow a group of twenty-something men and women as they are riding in a RV to a mutual friends wedding. They stop in the small town of Lovelock to gas up and are throughout the next couple nights are subjected to murder, mayham, and zombies. The film's jokes fall flat. The cut-aways to a country singer (Randall Keith Randall), who sings us the narrative of the film, are just annoying and not needed. The lead Zombie, who was one of the friends traveling in the RV, speaks and uses the head of his former friend as a puppet at the town meeting of sorts were the zombies gather and discuss a game plan. This is all too ridiculous. For a horror film it was terrible, for a comedy it was horrible, and for a horror-comedy it's down right ugly. With celebrity cameos and alot of bloodshed, it still wasn't enough for this reviewer to recommend this film to anyone. Overlook this film on your next trip to the video store.
