Dean Cain (LOIS & CLARK) is a career Army man who becomes sort of a "living" zombie after being bitten by a strange scorpion while on a mission in Cambodia. He and his deceased team are all sent back to the States in body bags, though he's the only one who retains his cognitive resources. All the others are mindless, flesh-hungry zombies. If a person is bitten they almost immediately become one of the undead.
This is more of a horror/comedy/homage to other horror movies and there's some funny scenes, such as when they are talking to a mortician and he looks over and we see one of those silver PHANTASM balls on the table. There's also lots of references to other zombie movies.
DEAD & DEADER isn't a great zombie movie by any means but it does have a good sense of humor.
