Season #5 begins and ends with a Greg Stillson episode and he's in the middle as well, though the majority of the episodes are "stand alone" stories, with Johnny Smith solving crimes and/or preventing murders. The feel and tone are very different from the original Stephen King novel but this is still one of the better sci-fi/supernatural series of this past decade.
