We have here a decent killer bee movie. It was full of unintentional laughs, like Ryan Phillipe's performance. I actually think this film was made in 1995, but got a recent re-release. Any movie with Robert Hays can't be all bad and this isn't. D.I. does offer up the lamest ending of any killer insect film ever though. The bees just...leave. Hmm, perhaps our victims should have just waited? Gina Phillips looks hot, not as hot as in Jeepers Creepers, but still hot. If you are ever cast as her brother in a film, well, plan on getting your ass kicked. Thinking back now, I believe only one or two people died. Damn, what a shitty body count for a killer bee film. The wedding attack scene was a bit hilarious. Deadly just doesn't hold up to the wonderful bee films of the past. Amazingly, it does offer the same dumbass warnings that those old films did. Haven't them bees got to Mexico and California yet?
