At first this seemed like another vampire as stripper movie, as with VAMP and FROM DUSK TIL DAWN, until it turns out that they're not vampires at all but ghouls, an underutilized monster if there ever was one.
Two guys (one of them Devon Sawa) decide to test a new aphrodesiac drug they are peddling on the strippers of a secluded strip joint and things go awry when they turn out to be other than human and start munching on the patrons. There's also a woman government assassin (Kelly Hu) and a monster hunter (Ken Foree) who, coincidently (or not) happen to be there as well. They manage to fight most of the ghouls but end up barricading themselves inside the building so they ultimately have to fight their way back out. Also, in order to stop them all they have to kill the "Queen" ghoul, the woman who originally made the deal with the devil. Exactly who this person is becomes fairly obvious halfway through the movie, but it's still entertaining. In fact, as it has the same mood and snappy dialogue as the first few seasons of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, fans of that show will probably dig this as well.
