Sounds like quite the movie title, huh? It's also called The Companion. Surprisingly though, Die is a little slow and very bloodless. However, the movie makes up for that by having a nice little family secret inspired murder mystery and is tension filled throughout. A man has a suicide prone older sister, one that he actually wants to see kick the bucket so he can claim the family home and inheritance. He hires an ex-nurse with a shady past to keep an eye on his sister, to help make sure her next suicide attempt doesn't fail. The nurse agrees to help for a cut of the loot, but soon learns that there's more to this family than she was told or meets the eye. Eventually, we find out through the sister's troubled dreams and sleep walking that her and dear brother are both guilty of some past horrors, and have a nice skeleton in their closet... well, actually it's locked in the cellar. By the fun-filled ending, we see an old lady slowly fall off a roof, a man convict himself with his own big mouth, and a very lucky nurse and housekeeper. This movie kept me glued and awake despite the slowness and talk. I don't mind dialog if it's something worth hearing and this movie weaves a pretty cool web of family hate. It's 88 minutes of family fun sure to make you wanna kill off a sibling or two for cash and prizes.
