This version, starring Dougray Scott (MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 2) as Dr. Jeckyll, premiered on the ION channel. He has been injecting himself with a substance from a plant he found in the Amazon jungle and it transforms him into the murderous Mr. Hyde. The two look exactly the same, but for some reason their DNA is different, which comes into play when Jeckyll goes on trial after confessing to the slayings. Half this movie is a weird court-room drama, which gives the familiar tale a different slant, but I could see that ending a mile away.
