Well...they had to go and spoil this one with a sequel. Yea, yea, I know. Price returns as Dr. Anton Phibes, who seeks out the River of Life in Egypt to resurrect his dead wife Vulnavia. Robert Fuest returns again to direct this sequel, making the comedic elements in this feature more apparent than the last. The victims of Dr. Phibes are more over-the-top and silly than the original which may be viewed as a good thing. The bottom line is this: if you liked the first film, then you'll be curious to see this one as well. If the first one wasn't your cup of tea, you'll find the second one absolutely atrocious.
