After watching the Six Million Dollar Man bigfoot episode and getting stoned at his friends' party Jason Lee has a 'vision' about befriending the Sasquatch. As him and his friends are about to get evicted from their apartment anyway, due to lack of jobs, he convinces them to go on a camping trip with him. They follow him for several days, seemingly lost, until he admits that he's really searching for bigfoot. They all think he's nuts, especially when he starts covering himself in mud. Anyway, they leave him to the forest. Months later some of the friends meet at a party and ask each other if they've heard any word from him. There's been none. The movie then cuts to Lee sitting in front of a fire in the woods, talking to someone about how his friends are doing their dreary jobs in their predictable lives. The camera widens out and we see who he's talking to-a family of bigfeet! This is an early View Askew movie (I believe it was shot in the early/mid 90's) and this release has a forward with Executive producer Kevin Smith, which is hilarious (actually funnier than the movie). The movie itself is like a Canadian version of DAZED AND CONFUSED...but with Sasquatch!
