Lance Henriksen is the pseudo-religious leader of humans who want to eradicate the world of mutants, though he himself turns out to be one of them. Daniel Goddard (BEASTMASTER tv series) is the mutant with mind-reading abilities who must ultimately stop him. The movie is supposed to take place some years after a comet has struck the Earth, all but eradicating mankind, so there's lots of abandoned industrial buildings and old smashed up cars for a backdrop. Everyone also wears contemporary clothes, though some have some fur sewn to them for no apparent reason. Sherilynn Fenn (TWIN PEAKS, THE WRAITH) portrays another one of the mutants. Story-wise, this movie is peculiar because it seems like one of those post-apocalyptic movies from the seventies (like THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR).
