I was so irritated by the editing of the first five minutes of this movie that I almost didn't watch it. However, this French film does get better... The story takes place sometime in the future. A man awakens deep beneath the Earth to find himself without memory of who he or even where he is. He finds a flashlight from a corpse and continues through the tunnels, encountering a lot of weirdness. The first thing is a guy tangled in tree roots and the plant seems to be feeding off of him. Then there are the freaky looking mutants that look like something out of a HELLRAISER movie. Eventually he does find other normal people and regains his memory and finds out exactly what EDEN LOG is and why the people underground are being transformed into the bestial creatures. EDEN LOG is different and intriguing. But be warned this is much more of an "Art Film" then it is a horror movie, just so you're in the right mindset when watching. » Search Database for Eden Log (2009) Seen it?
