Almost fifty years after the first moon landing the crew of the spaceship SAGAN is ready to make the first human landing on Mars. The crew must face technological glitches--and their own personalities--along the way, and once they reach the Red Planet must deal with huge sand storms and deadly meteorite showers. I liked this movie--there's some good performances by Christine Elise (China Beach) and Peter Outerbridge (Millenium, 3rd season)--and it's much more realistic than the bigger budgetted RED PLANET or MISSION TO MARS (though I liked those movies as well).
