Done in documentary style, this movie follows a group of filmmakers in San Francisco twelve years after a plague has destroyed most of mankind. Less than two hundred people now live in the city. A couple of guys, one of them a filmmaker, get a video camera and decide to document what's going on in their society. We gets people's perspectives, the most interesting being that of the children who were too young to remember the old world.
It's shown how people continue to survive what's left from the old world, such as utilizing battery power and still able to use running water. Conflict arises from the return of an unstable individual who was banished years before for setting some buildings on fire--and everyone is afraid he'll kill someone. Some people want to drive him out again, others want to kill him first.
EVER SINCE THE WORLD ENDED is one of the best "End of the World" movies I've seen.
