A six-hundred year-old-man, Richard Wayborn, kills women in order to resurrect his wife & eternal love, a sadistic woman who was killed the same time he was made immortal. As soon as he kills the woman's body becomes reanimated by his lover's spirit and he has several hours of fun before rigor mortis sets in. But his mode of operation becomes endangered when he tries to kill one of his students (he is posing as a famous horror author, though it's his wife who is really writing the books). He has to kill her before she exposes him. There's also an appearance by Dawn Wells (Maryann from Gilligan's Island!). Although it's an interesting premise there are quite a few plot-holes that can't be overlooked (for example, when he snaps a woman's neck and she becomes reanimated--the reanimated corpse's head would probably be wobbling around) and the relationship with killing women over and over again in order to rekindle his old flame is remarkably similar to the premise of the movie ADDICTED TO MURDER. Even the woman's name, Rachel, is the same...coincidence?
