Faye Dunaway plays Laura Mars, a fashion photographer whose career has really taken off with the showing of her violence-oriented photos. A detective (Tommy Lee Jones) begins following her, thinking that she may somehow be linked to a chain of recent murders in NYC-murders which mimic her photographs. Laura Mars also has these visions of seeing events through the murderer's eyes-and this killer targets people involved with those photo shoots. Crazy-looking Brad Dourif has a role as her driver.
I was surprised who the murderer turned out to be, but the end of the movie is constructed in such a way as you know who it is beforehand, simply by process of elimination (everyone else who could be the murderer has been killed by then). Still, an interesting psychic/serial killer movie from the 70's.
The story for this is by John Carpenter!
