The Fangs in this film are inside the mouth of a group of killer bats that a wacko scientist with a grudge uses to pick off his enemies. He controls them with an electronic device that he triggers near the intended victim, causing the assassin rodents to attack. Oh yeah, he faked his own death earlier to try and outwit the police. Well, it didn't work by film's end. Does that lame stunt ever? Anyway, he manages to kill off several people who have wronged his family (most all deserve it) in pretty bloodless and tame fashion considering these bats were supposedly so lethal. Fangs was OK, but not as good as Bats, nor were the FX anywhere close. The computer bats looked shitty most of the time. Also, there's a lot of silly comedy thrown in that seldom adds anything but a groan. The local vet (Corbin Bernsen) aids the semi-hot looking lady cop to stop the bad old meany scientist nerd. The most I can say is that he had a very hot looking jailbait daughter. Dean Stockwell is in this as well. Our poor nerd dies with his 'Babies' in the quintessential exploding barn ending. Fangs for the memories...oh no, did I just type that? Well, I guess if you need a killer bat fix and haven't seen Bats or Bat People, this may fulfill your need.
