Not a bad little flick, some guy and some friends cheat death by airplane, soon learning Death doesn't like being played. The rest of the film focuses on knocking off the kids in fairly gruesome ways. Each person wonders who's next and the hero type is trying to figure out the process of who and why. Fun, fast paced, and pretty nasty at times, Final Destination thankfully isn't a Scream clone. I was surprised at how enjoyable this one was after shunning the theatrical release, go figure. Maybe I should check out the sequel?
