One of the great titles in kung-fu cinema history and and a damn good Shaw Brothers bloodbath has heads yanked off by a flying metal hatbox. Well, it's actually the emperor's new weapon, not clothes, and a team of assassins soon trains and learns to master the flying guillotine! The training sequences and assassinations are awesome to say the most and Chen Kuan Tai was always one of the Shaw's best workers. I have always dug the 'tine and its gory designs. The whole concept is so crazy that only the Shaw Brothers could pull this shit off and make it serious. Sure, there's all the wonderful plot, heroism, and morality, but I just enjoy seeing the guillotine fly myself. Amazing stuff!
