An overworked architect (Vincent Ventresca of Invisible Man, Prey) misses his daughter's high school graduation so he goes to the local pet store and buys her a monkey for a pet. But this isn't a normal monkey. It transforms into a gargoyle-like creature and kills people. In the opening scene it's being transported from China--and it kills one of the workers as well as all the other animals on board. The monkey is delivered to a pet store where it's purchased for the guy's daughter. There are a bunch of lame teenagers and stereotypical shenanigans. And although the idea of a were-monkey is fairly unique the special effects are bad.
