A rich college student, Jonathan Venkenheim (Kris Lemche of ALTER EGOS) pursuing his PHD in California, is obsessed with the story of the Frankenstein monster. He believes that Mary Shelley's novel is non-fiction and based on letters written by one of his ancestors. He was a member of the Illuminati and they did experiments with creating life--and a long lived violent creature. Venkenheim hires a documentary filmmaking crew to record his journey to the Arctic Circle, where he believes the creatures still lives, migrating with the caribou herds in the Northern territories. He hires a hardened guide, Karl, to lead them up there, and the guide warns that it's very dangerous and that they have to listen to what he says. However, after their camp is nearly destroyed, he goes to find the culprit--and doesn't come back. Have they really discovered the real-life basis for the monster?
This is a decent enough "found footage" movie, well-written and acted, as well as a good Frankenstein film. Recommended.
