Ray and his two buddies are drinking at a local pub when Ray encounters a woman, Cassie, who claims she's a time-traveler from the future. She says it's one of the perks of her job, to meet famous people. What she does is repair "time leaks". Ray thinks this is a joke that his friends put her up to but when he goes back they have no idea what he's talking about.
Then, one of the friends gets up to go to the bathroom and when he returns sees the place in shambles, everyone dead, including an older version of himself. He goes back into the bathroom and when he comes out everything is back to normal. He tells his friends about it and takes them back to the bathroom. They end up a half-hour in the past and try to avoid themselves, then end up in an apocalyptic future with giant ants.
It's here that they see a painted mural of themselves on a wall. Then, it's back in time, though still in their future, where people are celebrating some type of holiday in their honor. Whatever one of them had written in his notepad changed history and made them famous. But there are time-travelers who aren't as friendly as Cassie, the Editors, who want to change time. In this case, the villain wants to kill the trio on the cusp of their
fame. However, there is a way to change all of this but time is running out...
This is a fun time-travel movie, more of a comedy than anything else.
