This 60 minute video, released by Starlog Entertainment, is an anthology of four science fiction films that were winners in the CINEMAGIC magazine contest way back in the early 80's. DR DOBERMIND features a young girl who has nightmares about a strange taxidermist who she thinks is out to kill her, ILLEGAL ALIEN, an effective parody of ALIEN, NIGHTFRIGHT about a creature under the bed and THE THING IN THE BASEMENT that features a really cool looking green alien. Although the connecting segways with two 'Siskel and Ebert' type reviewers is extremely lame, these shorts are decent.
