This is a European version of TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE crossed with FROM DUSK TIL DAWN. A group of young criminals flee a riot in France and end up at a weird hostel in the countryside. The house is run by an ancient Nazi who has instilled in his offspring some odd and twisted values. They pretty much kill and eat anyone who comes their way and every so often "adopt" a female to continue the family line. This time it's Yasmine (Karina Testa), who has recently discovered she's pregnant. One of the other women they had kidnapped years ago has had offspring but "something is wrong with them" and she keeps them alive in the old mines beneath the house.
There's nothing quite new here but it is an engaging movie. The one thing that irritated me, though, is that the Yasmine character, when she's freaking out, starts to rock back and forth, nodding her head like she's some caged animal in a zoo (which might be the point).
Also, I don't mind reading subtitles but I think in this case Lions Gate was too cheap to have it re-dubbed in English.
