The video box for this says 'highly original, turbo-charged sci-fi thrill ride' but what this movie really turns out to be is a take on the movie ROLLERBALL, but not nearly as intense. Dean Cain (Lois and Clark) portrays Tre Ramzey, the sport's superstar. Vanessa L Williams is the reporter who had a relationship with him years before. In come a terrorist organization that's after Ramzey for some reason--and it all ends up with the two opposing sides playing a game of Future Sport instead of having a war.
