The box for this stinker has a quote that says 'dedicated to the Memory of Lucio Fulci' and that--and the ripoff title--is the only connection to that director's film. An occultist group initiates its members into joining with the 'Darkness of Death' and resurrects a hideous monster that turns out to be some skinny guy in sub-par prosthetics. Uninteresting characters run around in shadows, firing machine guns and driving their cars down various city streets. Other than that, there's not much excitement. I must admit, though, that the filmmakers have big cajones touting this as a Fulci sequel. If only they took that gumption and tried making a passable movie....
