I'll admit, of all Marvel's marvelous characters, never thought I'd see a Ghost Rider movie. Hell, they couldn't have even made this film years ago without the digital FX, less somebody could have convinced some actor setting their head on fire for a 3rd of the movie was for the sake of art. Either way, the FX make G.R. awesome eye-candy and not a bad story to boot. I loved it. Of course, I'm a big Marvel comics and Ghost Rider fan so, even though the film is flawed and the storyline doesn't quite feel like the books, it actually works out well to me. In my book, G.R. works out as one of the better marvel films so far. I think if you a comic fan all of these films kinda hurt to watch in some ways as we all have our own idea of what the characters should be like. The X-men films have really been hard on me, but this here I can just kick back and enjoy like the Spidey flicks, knowing they'll never get it right anyways. Worth a look, even if you're just looking to see Nicholas Cage's head on fire.
