A professor (William Atherton of REAL GENIUS) takes his daughter back with him to the "old country" to attend the funeral of his mother. But it's a strange, backwards town harboring a dark secret. In the movie they aren't called ghouls at all but Ancients and they want to bring back their kind into the world through possessing the daughter, so it's up to her to stop it. The makeup effects are creepy, but these aren't ghouls and the title is misleading. Regardless, it's a forgettable movie. » Search Database for Ghouls (2008) Seen it?
