A mysterious, beautiful woman by the name of Cassandra Nightingale (Catherine Bell) moves into the local haunted house in a small town. The first people who meet her are two kids, a boy and a girl, who are being chased by a vicious dog. She stops the dog by talking to it and it goes away. The boy, Brandon, then starts the rumor that she's a witch and may be "The Grey Lady", who lived in the house generations before. It doesn't help her case that she's opened up a shop stocked with occult items and soon the local busy-body woman (Catherine Disher of FOREVER KNIGHT), starts on a crusade to close her store. Brandon's widowed father Jake is the local sheriff and upon their first meeting, he and Cassandra hit it off. There's definitely a spark. So he has to balance out his personal and professional life when dealing with Cassie and the townsfolk. The big question remains as to if she's really that old witch, returned, and if she really has supernatural abilities...
This supernatural flick is definitely an old fashioned "family movie" but you know, every so often, one of these hits the spot.
