Following up the rather inept part 5, it should have been easy to get things back on track...but once again, the ball is fumbled beyond belief. Here we have the JASON GOES TO HELL syndrome, where some alleged 'fans' were given the reigns to 'improve' things because of their extensive 'knowledge' on the series at large......and things are more muddled, cliche, and boring than we ever thought possible. Here, Danielle Harris' character is killed off early on (I guess it was her character, but a different actress played her for some inept reason!) and she hides a baby...allegedly fathered (!) by Myers himself...through some devil cult headed by (SPOILER HERE!) Dr. Loomis' boss from the first HALLOWEEN!HUH?!?! Then we are introduced to new family offsprings of the original Halloween families (including Tommy Jarvis, one of the little kids from the end of the first film) and things get MIGHTY CONFUSING as Myers and Pleasence arrive on scene for cat and mouse games...Figuring this movie out is just impossible. I've heard there were editing problems and this and that, but the bottom line is that these 'fan boys' overwrote things to an incomprehensible and ludicrous level, practically KILLING the franchise. Good grief.I've seen this movie THREE TIMES and can barely remember anything about it, other than thinking with the baby and all it tried to be another NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET movie or something.I can't remember any decent skin scenes or kills that came from this one...wait...through the haze I'm remembering a quick nudie scene...okay, okay, all is not lost, but the guys who made this should be ashamed.Blah.
