Jeffrey Combs is a mad scientist who has transformed his cancer ridden son into a shark hybrid in order to save his life. A group of scientists, part of the corporation that is funding his work, travels to his secluded island and discovers what he's up to. He explains that his goal is to create a new form of human, one that can exist in the oceans. He also wants to kill all of his visitors because he blames them for his being exiled. So, he sends his shark son after them as they run around the island.This is a good, mad-scientist movie, which reminded me of those BLOOD ISLAND movies from the 70's-and the carnivorous plants he has created brought Victor Gough's scientist in KONGA to mind. There is lots of carnage as well.A good, goofy B-monster movie.
