A detective (Lou Daimond Phillips) pursues a serial killer known as 'The Hangman' who gets his name from playing the game hangman with the police. He kidnaps a woman then calls the police, asking which letters they should pick. If they make more than six mistakes he kills his victim. Also helping track down this killer is a former psychiatrist (Madchen Amick), who may be his next victim. But all is not as it seems about this Hangman and the detective must figure out what's really going on. Kind of your typical serial killer movie but it does have an interesting twist ending.
