It took ten years for the reunion of Agent Starling, now played by foxy Julianna Moore, & Hannibal Lecter, but the results kick major ass! This movie killed mainstream pussies expecting a nice little 'psychological thriller' with buckets of blood and gory guts! I thought it was funny how people cried about how sick it was, hell, ain't we all seen far worse, not that I don't dig what we got here. The brain eating scene is now infamous, Julianna looks as hot as Jodi plus she was in Boogie Nights so she gets a special nod in my uh... book. Hopkins once again becomes Lecter and you really get to enjoy the good Dr. more in Hannibal than Silence. Actually, compared to the other assholes in the film, Lecter seems like the hero. He gives a kid something good to eat at the end doesn't he? So much good shit here, I can't even begin to recall it all. I was very happy to see that goofball get wheeled to the pigs; he got on my nerves big time. Wonder if we'll get a third visit from the Dr. anytime soon. The focus on a little more action and blood in this film as opposed to the lighter load in Lambs gave us all what we wanted to see!
