I found this disappointing as I thought it would be more along the lines of SHREK. What we get is an animated film intended strictly for kids. It's interesting hearing the voices of some of the characters - Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddy Prinze, Jr., Andy Dick, Wallace Shawn, but they can't help the lame script. The computer animation is also much more crudely rendered than what is now the norm, making me feel I was watching some cheap kid show on Saturday Morning. I was unhappily ever after watching this.
