This is an adaptation of the Ramsey Campbell short story, which I haven't read so I can't compare it to, but as a short horror film (10 minutes) it works quite well. A "mad scientist" is doing unorthodox experiments and his wife doesn't know what to do about it, until she confides in the local butcher that her husband is up to no good. Let's just say that he ends up losing his head over it...but that's not nearly the end.
HEADING HOME has a definite "H.P. Lovecraft" feel to it, particularly REANIMATOR, and the special effects are quite good.
