A team of scientists are sent to a secret, hi-tech arctic lab to investigate a possible disease that has zombie-like aspects. The leader is Dr. Alan Farragut (Billy Campbell) and he's joined by his ex-wife, Dr. Julia Walker and his young girlfriend scientist, Dr. Sarah Jordan. Things are further complicated when Alan finds out that his estranged brother, Peter Farragut (Neil Napier) is working there. There's lots of secrecy about, thanks to Dr. Hiroshi Hatake (WOLVERINE), who has a direct tie to Julia. And while this strange disease is creepy, it's the other revelations that are much more dire, especially concerning the secret group, Ilaria.
This first season is vaguely like THE ANDROMEDA STRAIN crossed with 28 DAYS LATER, with a good dose of the defunct TV show PREY thrown in. It's definitely worth checking out.
