This low budget independent film from Rounds Entertainment concerns a young woman named Melissa who brings forth a character called HELLINGER. When she was a child she witnessed the creature kill her abusive father. Now, the creature seems to be visiting her more and more. At this time killings are happening in New York City and a tattooed detective gets involved. We find out that HELLINGER was once a priest-who wanted to see 'God's Kingdom' with his own eyes-and was cast out. Now, a creature of evil, he often destroys people by stealing their eyes. Although much of the acting is uneven, the script even more uneven (good scene, bad scene, good scene, et cetera), and has some of the most irritating clichéd characters such as the police cheif, the detective, the evangelist and a therapist who seems to know absolutely NOTHING about how therapy is supposed to work, it is very well shot movie and has decent production values. The character of HELLINGER is chilling, like a demonic Pee Wee Herman crossed with HELLRAISER'S Pinhead.
