Wow, this thing was great! When the video hits shelves on Nov. 9th I believe, go grab yourself a rental or buy one. Like Ed Gein and Bundy before it, Hillside takes a look at serial slaying, events based on The Hillside Strangler murders, however this attempt is way more fun and enjoyable than both of those flicks. This fucker is sleazy and you might as well run the old lady out of the room from the get go as it's wall to wall kinky sex, nudity, and violence against women. Man, this movie should get an Oscar, at least. The story does actually come pretty close to the truth as we see how two degenerate cousins go on a binge of rape, murder, and overall bad behavior as soon as the more sheltered of the two hits L.A. What can I say, it's must see TV, especially for jaded assholes like us! Targon Video, you did good. I only mention the sleaze 'cause that's what wins prizes with me, but the film is actually well done and directed with a bit of style. Of the four recent serial killer flicks I've seen, this is1st place hands down.
