Sure, this story has been done before (insane inbred family kidnaps people and tortures them until only one is left alive) but it's never been so well done. Lots of weird characters, including a giant burned mutant, great, over-the-top performances by the actors and an unrelentlessness you don't see too often in theatrical movies anymore.
