This fairly slow moving film was a bit of a waste for the most part. A good cast mixed with a decent idea just didn't seem to pan out due to the lack of action. Even John Carradine couldn't save this one too much. The plot was decent with a group of filmmakers working in a house with a mysterious, murderous past. Mix in some undead action, a strange diary detailing the past events in the house, and the obligatory deaths of the films' cast, you should get a pretty good movie. However, it all just happens a little too slowly for my tastes and just never seems to play out quite right. It could have been worse I guess, but definitely should've been much better.
