This is yet another "found footage" horror movie. The text at the beginning fills us in--that nearly sixty-hours of footage had showed up at the authorities--and that this 90 minute documentary consists of that footage. Everyone believed it a hoax because it was so extreme...
Ed and Susan live in the midst of the suburbs and they have a very strange hobby. They make snuff films. In many of the videos Ed talks about how he's going to put together the best one ever and take snuff to the next level. They say they are recording everything and have the entire house wired with cameras. Then we see them all enthusiastic, trying to find their new "actors". They try picking up random people off the street, which doesn't work, then go for the prostitutes and druggies. That doesn't work, either. Then they get three teenagers--two girls and one guy, and take them back to their house. This is when things get nasty.
HOUSE WITH 100 EYES is definitely not a pleasant movie. It's a "found footage" version of SAW or HOSTEL--and this documentary style is what makes it so effective. Recommended if you like this type of movie
