Director Eric Stanze is back and in the SCRAPBOOK mode for Sub Rosa Studios' EXTREME branch.Teamed with star Emily Haack again, Stanze brings up the grossout gore factors several notches with this bizarre effort of art and sleaze. The tables are turned for Haack this time, whereas before she was the victim in SCRAPBOOK. This time around, she's the intended victim of an ex-boyfriend who wants to exact revenge on her and three others that allegedly wronged him. Before he gets nasty, Haack overpowers him and instead of calling the police, she becomes the aggressor. She slowly and gruesomely rapes, tortures, and annihilates everyone her ex-beau had kidnapped. Loving every minute of it! Taking humility, rape, and murder to the furthest 'mainstream' extremes possible, this film delivers in every bloodthirsty and deviant way that it advertises.Think LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT---but actually SEEING all those excised parts where Craven made cuts in the rape scenes, without the 'comic relief' subplot of bumbling cops. This movie is full-on dead serious in its philosophy of revenge.Victims are doused in their own excretement, sodomized with broomsticks, and tortured with cigarettes.Tech credits are decent, and if annihilation and torture are your bag, you WON'T be disappointed. You'll FEEL the pain by the time the end credits roll. Don't say you weren't warned!Available at www.b-movie.com.
