There is really only one thing I can say about this film and that is SLOW. Granted, it is more of a psychological/tormented soul kind of picture but it still moves along at an agonizing pace. It basically involves the main character going off into the wilderness for an experiment. He comes across this old house and finds a girl in it and she looks extremely sick. He carries her out, why he even touched her was beyond me, and he gets bitten. He runs off and gets sick. From this point on the film is the main character, in his apartment, turning into a zombie. He has to kill for food and hates it, yet he does it quite frequently, and not very enthusiastically I might add, and then barely eats anything from the corpse. Not too bright. He has a strange fixation with his girlfriend that he just took off on instead of telling her he was sick. Needless to say the movie hasn't much more to offer. There are some ridiculous masturbation scenes, one being the climactic scene. (I'm thinking this entire movie was made just to do that one scene) The only fairly original, or interesting, part of this movie is when he begins to nail metal plates into his body to mend his broken bones and rotting flesh. That was interesting, the rest was crap. Don't waste your time unless you're really into redundancy.
