Jude Law (A.I., GATTACA) portrays a serial killer whogets his victims to fall in love with him before he kills them by ripping out their throats. As he tells his latest victim, Elina Lowensohn (NADJA), he needs their love in order to stay alive--and he gets this love through their blood. But he's truly fallen in love with his new conquest and can't quite bring himself to kill her. He starts to get sick and quickly degenerates before he succumbs to his need--and tries attacking her one last time. This movie reminded me of Romero's MARTIN, in that the main character believes he is a vampire and acts on that impulse. Recommended. » Search Database for Immortality (1998) Seen it?
