A group of friends, all in their early twenties, go on a trip to the jungles of South America. We know it doesn't go well because it begins with one of them talking into his cell phone, desperate and obviously in danger. Then, the story unfolds to this point, at which point we see that they've encountered a strange, human-like creature in the jungle. The movie is just okay and while the makeup effects on the creature are well-done it really doesn't represent a "Chupacabra". Which may be the filmmaker's point, I have no idea. Anyways, INDIGENOUS is not memorable.
