A prehistoric alien is uncovered by Chad Everett on an oil rig. Half Alien and half The Thing adds up to a whole lot of predictability. The creature, a man in a rubber suit, looks like a monster in a similarly titled Roger Corman movie called The Terror Within (1989), which is yet another Alien-inspired movie.
