In olden times, two guys, traveling across a barren wasteland on horseback, come to some water. One guy tells the other guy not to drink but he does anyway, and spits it out. The other guy explains that this entire area is cursed because of these horrible flying creatures. Well, what do you know--there are some eggs along the water and after they walk off one of them hatches, rapidly grows to a huge, dragon-size, and comes back and attacks them. The one who survives stumbles into the nearby village where we're introduced to the main character, a blacksmith (Tahmot Penekett of Battlestar Galactica, Dollhouse), who ultimately fights the dragon. Eh.
The CGI monster looks exactly like the creature from Wyvern, which I believe was produced by the same company, Cinetel. It's just a different color. Fooled me completely.
