As part of the Godzilla series of films, this is a surprisingly weak one, as the majority of it is these news reporters talking about what's going on. Godzilla has reappeared after awakening from his sleep in the arctic and is returning to Tokyo. An American scientist explains that he may be a cross between a Tryannosaurus and a Stegosaurus, which is goofy, as that's akin to crossing a lion with a cow. As this is happening, there's another story about a mysterious fruit that can cure illness-and it only grows on the remote Faro island. Here, the natives worship a giant god named KONG, which the scientists believe is a myth. That is, until the giant ape appears. The battle between the two behemoths is like watching WWW (well, it may be more believable!). Personally, I enjoyed KING KONG ESCAPES much better.
