A big game hunter, whose grandfather was the one who captured the original King Kong, wants to go to Kong Island and catch the new ape. This new giant gorilla has a genetic link to a human boy by the name of Jason. His grandmother cloned Kong and gave him her grandson's DNA, to give him a better chance of survival. Since the grandmother does her studies on Kong island this is where she raised the two together, so Kong is more like a brother to him than anything else. Via a "cyber-link" and magical energy from the island, the two can also merge into one creature when they need to.
The hunter finds his way to Kong Island and starts capturing the prehistoric animals for his zoo back in the city, from Raptors to Mammoths. Kong is brought to the city and escapes. Of course, he ends up fighting a T-Rex in the streets.
The word that comes to mind for this is "abysmal". The computer animation is "block-like" and makes REBOOT seem like a Pixar movie. This animated movie is an insult to both King Kong and any viewer with an IQ higher than 10.
